Great instructors. Very professional yet kid friendly. Emphasis on actually learning stuff vs just goofing around! They always incorporate something fun into every class. Lots of date/time options. Two locations to choose from. Highly recommend this place.

We have been working with the Ruth Rumack team since the winter of 2021. They have been amazing in helping our son gain confidence in reading and math. He has ben taught great tools to succeed in reading and help him persevere with a LD. They have also given us as parents great feedback, and homework to have him work on between sessions which reinforce what he has been learning in the session. Having started with Ruth Rumack in the midst of the pandemic and having a 6 year old have to learn virtually they have been a tremendous support and helped him keep progressing and learning though such challenging times.

I have been very pleased with Ruth Rumack's one-on-one tutoring services. As we moved my son from French Immersion to English in grade 3, he needed additional support with reading, writing and math. Their use of play in instruction and a diversity of learning tools leaves my son positive and motivated after each lesson. The instructors are very conscientious and keep me updated on his progress on a regular basis.

My kid took the one to one admission interview prep with Amy in mid-town. She is professional, supportive, and very caring. My child becomes much more confident and engaging in school application. Everyone in the center is amazing. We had great experience.

Math is not the strongest subject for our teenage son, and he has found it more difficult has he has moved through Grade 10 and Grade 11 math. We've used learning specialists at Ruth Rumack for the past three school years (Grades 9, 10 &11), and he finished in each of those years with a final mark in the low-80s . That's an "A", of course, and so we have been very pleased. We - and he - know that he would not reached that level of achievement without the help of learning specialists at Ruth Rumack.

As the mother of a child who struggled with math, I have only overwhelmingly positive things to say about RRLS. My daughter is not only getting much higher grades than I ever imagined possible, she is able to translate this life lesson to other areas of her life. She no longer says that she can't do something, but rather that she hasn't figured out a way to learn it yet. What an outstanding center with amazing staff!!

We had a very positive experience with Ruth Rumack’s Learning Space. Our son’s instructor, Dan, created a productive and anxiety-free space which allowed our son to master his SSAT skills and gain confidence. Dan focused on test-taking strategies and tailored the program to meet our son’s learning needs; in less than a month, his scores improved tremendously. We also greatly appreciated the scheduling flexibility that was offered. It all led to a great outcome.

I can't say enough good things about RRLS. All three of my children have attended at different times in their lives, for very different reasons. The teachers, the facility and the approach are completely unique and very special. But, most importantly, the progress my children have all made in short amounts of time has been remarkable. We have tried at-home tutors and absolutely nothing compares to RRLS. We trust them with our children and feel so fortunate to have found them!

I contacted Ruth Rumack’s 2 years ago regarding my son’s learning and they were so understanding and helpful. Right away they knew what he needed and matched him with a fantastic teacher. My son has worked with 2 different teachers, both of whom are fantastic. He has progressed 3 grade levels in math! Best of all he loves his math lessons with his Ruth Rumack. I highly recommend Ruth Rumack’s to anyone with a child who has exceptional needs.

My son has been coming to Ruth Rumack’s Learning Space since the end of Grade 7 and he is now finishing Grade 10. My son has a processing disability and was struggling at school. Because he is also gifted he was able to hide his disability from most people, most of the time, all the way through elementary school. However by middle school his struggle was causing him significant anxiety. Ruth was able to pinpoint exactly where his issue lay right at the first meeting. From there on my son has had individually targeted support which has allowed him to succeed and feel confident and has allayed his anxiety. Ruth Rumack's Learning Space has been a invaluable resource in our son's education. Our son began at RRLS in grade 2 when he moved from French Immersion to English. He quickly gained confidence in English and began to enjoy learning. The teachers are RRLS are very skilled in working with children at all levels. They understand how to make learning fun and productive at the same time. I could not recommend RRLS more highly - it is a transformational place!!

We are at the Davisville location. This is the first tutoring service that my son has attended without complaint. In fact, he enjoys seeing his teacher weekly! She makes learning fun by truly tailoring sessions to his interests. The teachers are caring, motivating and highly qualified. My son's academic performance has skyrocketed in the 6 months since we have been with RRLS. It's not inexpensive, but you get results.

Absolutely thrilled with the instruction and test prep. Our instructor, Dan, was very motivating and kept my son interested in the material. They worked with my son’s strengths and helped him identify really valuable test-taking strategies that paid off. His scores for the SSAT went up by almost 500 points from the initial visit - in 2 months! Highly recommend this place.
